“How long will my website take?” is usually one of the first questions we get asked. The honest answer is: it depends. But here’s a rough guide based on different project types.

A simple brochure website with five to ten pages typically takes two to four weeks. That includes design, development, content population, and testing. The biggest variable here is usually how quickly you can provide content and feedback.

A standard ecommerce site with up to fifty products usually takes four to eight weeks. There’s more complexity involved—payment integration, shipping setup, product photography and descriptions, and more pages to build.

A custom web application or complex ecommerce build with bespoke functionality can take three to six months or longer. These projects involve planning, custom development, extensive testing, and often integration with other systems.

The timeline also depends heavily on you. Projects where clients provide content quickly and give prompt feedback move faster than those where we’re waiting weeks for sign-off.

Our advice: don’t rush it. A website that’s done properly will serve you for years. A few extra weeks in development is worth it for something you’ll be proud of.
